How to make Air Blower at home in Easy way

Homemade Blower (Air Blower)

When it starts rotating air enters the centre of a spinning impeller, and the air is divided between the impeller's vanes. Then impeller turns and accelerates the air outwards direction using centrifugal force. This high-pressure velocity is diffused and slows down the housing of the surrounding blower to create pressure.

The working principle

When the impeller starts rotating, the channels of the impeller pushes the air forward direction by the centrifugal force. In this, the inlet pressure is low and higher pressure at the outlet. It is also known as centrifugal fans.
*These types of the blower are mainly used for the flow of air/gas for cooling, exhausting, etc.

Components required: -

  1. Plastic cap
  2. Empty jar
  3. Tin plate
  4. Hot glue
  5. 12v D.C. motor
  6. Empty Plastic bottle
  7. 12v D.C connector
  8. Switch ON/OFF
  9. Wire
  10. Soldering iron
  11. Plastic pipe (1inch and 1/2inch)

NoteAll the electric components should be solder with wire.

How to make it / Do it yourself (DIY)

  1. Take the round plastic cap and cut its outer part. Then make four lines approx. From the centre of the end to another end.
  2. Take a tin plate and cut it from the centre point to the endpoint. Then cut all plate(blade) into 45 degrees.
  3. Then use hot glue to paste all the blades into the round plastic.
  4. Then it becomes air impeller/high-pressure blower impeller. image
  5. Take an empty plastic jar and make a hole at the centre in which D.C. motor easily fitted.
  6. Then take 12v D.C. motor and apply glue in its front face and fic it in a plastic jar [hole in jar cp for inlet the air]
  7. After that, fic the blower impeller into the shaft with Araldite so it can't be loose.
  8. Take a plastic cap through we can cover the upper part/outer part of the motor and also make two holes for [1for switch and 1 for 12D.C connector]
  9. Solder the wire in all 3elctronic components (switch, connector & D.C. motor)
  10. Then take 1 inch or one 1/2inch PVC pipe/plastic round pipe and fix it in the upper facing side of a plastic jar, for the air outlet.
  11. Take a 1/2inch pipe and make its handle.so we can easily hold it.
  12. Take 12v-2amp D.C. adaptor as a power supply for run the air blower.
  13. Finally, switch ON and run your air blower and use it as your domestic cleaning purpose.
